Back by popular demand, the Innsbrook Foundation is hosting this family harvest festival featuring the largest Punkin Dunkin contest around! We will help you load your pumpkin into the formidable trebuchets skillfully designed and built by local high school students who are competing to be named the 2017 Champion! This year, we have two teams already registered! The ACE Center at Highland Springs and The Highland Springs Center for Engineering are going head-to-head this year to see who will win. Think you can launch a pumpkin farther? Enter today! The mark to beat is a whopping 735 feet, which was celebrated by the Highland Springs High School Center for Engineering team! Plus, the best local high school bands are coming out to compete in the 3rd annual “Battle of the Bands” with some of the greatest jazz and popular tunes ever! Contact the Innsbrook Foundation to sign up a school band! We are adding a “People’s Choice” category to the judging this year so tell your friends to come out and support your high school’s band!
Plan now to celebrate the season in Innsbrook as we combine Punkin Dunkin and the Battle of the Bands with great food, costume contests, fun treats and the Markel KidZone. Have fun with the climbing wall, petting zoo, pony rides and bouncy house activities! There will be something for everyone, including everyone’s favorite apple-launcher with the chance to “get set, aim, and hurl” your apples across Lake Rooty into a target for fun prizes! Speaking of prizes, plan to put together a creative costume to win during one of our costume contests. It’s not just for kids! We will have seasonal beverages, delicious dishes, and lots to do for adults looking to have fun too!
